Our BELS Gozo superior residence is located on a quiet road in main town of the island, Victoria. When staying here, you can reach the school in a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute bus ride. Many of our students also opt for bicycle rentals and cycle their way around the island. You can catch regular busses from the main bus station on the island, which is a 5 minute walk away from the residence.

Weekly Cleaning

A cleaning service is provided on a weekly basis which includes washing floors, amenities and changing bedsheets and towels provided.

The Area

Victoria, also known as Rabat, is the capital city of Gozo. It’s the cultural hub of the island that offers the perfect middle ground between city life and a charming local town. You can find all the amenities needed while still enjoying plenty of peace and quiet. There’s a modern aspect to it, as well as an old town with cobbled alleyways, a medieval Citadel and bustling squares with a selection of cafes, restaurants and local shops. The central location gives you easy access to the whole island. From here you can find quick and effective bus connections to all locations.

The Residences

The BELS superior residence consists of three apartments, all of which have four spacious bedrooms. All the apartments are comfortable furnished and with town views from the main terrace.

In each unit you can find Wi-Fi in all areas, communal bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine and air-conditioned bedrooms. Single rooms are available for students travelling alone, with the option of twin rooms for students travelling together. Private bathrooms are also available at an additional charge. Bed linen and towels are supplied and replaced once a week as part of the cleaning service provided.

Room Type

There are two room tiers to select from in our superior student residence. All rooms are located in the same apartment and share the same common space and services. The distinctions only relate to the rooms.

Superior Basic

Our superior basic rooms are offered as twin rooms (shared with another BELS student) or as single rooms (private). There are two twin beds, bed linen, a shared wardrobe, air conditioning, and heating in the room.

Superior Plus with Ensuite Bathroom

Our superior plus rooms may be reserved as single room for individuals travelling alone, or as twin room for two individuals traveling together. The room has the same amenities as the basic room, including bed linen, a shared wardrobe, air conditioning, and heating. An added benefit to the superior plus rooms is that they are more spacious and have an ensuite bathroom Each room also has a desk and a strong internet connection. They are ideal for students who want to work remotely or need a private study environment.

Arrival

An arrival airport transfer is included with all our residence stays. A BELS driver will welcome you at the Malta International Airport. You will be taken to the ferry terminal in Cirkewwa. After a 25-minute ferry ride, you will be greeted by your second driver at the Mgarr terminal in Gozo. Our driver will provide a welcome pack and the keys to your apartment. This service is available at any time.
