Join our Student Community in a Newly-built, Modern Residence
Our BELS Malta superior residences are a part of a modern and gated housing in Xemxija, a coastal area in the town of St. Paul’s Bay. From here, you can reach the school in a 20-minute walk English School Malta through the town. It’s also possible to reach the school by bus, with regular 5-minute bus rides. You can catch the bus from a stop right outside the residence, which takes you directly to our school.
Weekly Cleaning
A cleaning service is provided on a weekly basis which includes washing floors, amenities and changing bedsheets and towels provided.
3 Bedrooms
Share a twin room with another student of the same gender or opt for a private room. Private bathrooms are available. Maximum 6 students per residence.
Communal Areas

The Area
The residences are located on the central promenade. As well as having sea-front views, the area is full of coffee shops, kiosks, restaurants and lounge bars for evening entertainment. All the necessary amenities such as mini markets, local council, post office, banks and various shops can also be found within walking distance.
Being a coastal town, you can find many rocky beaches and swimming spots all around. The bus stop outside the apartment has directly links to central locations on the island as well as the main bus station in Buġibba.
The Residences
The residence consists of self-catering apartments with 3 bedrooms, each comfortably furnished, with air-conditioned bedrooms. Every unit consists of a living area with TV, Wi-Fi in the living area, a washing machine, a common bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. When staying here, you can choose between having a private room or a twin room, shared with another BELS student. Private bathrooms are also available upon request.
Bed linens and towels are included in the residence. These are replaced on a regular basis, as part of our weekly cleaning services.

In our superior student residence, there are two room tiers to choose from. All rooms are within the same residences and benefit from the same common area and facilities. The differences only apply to the rooms.

Superior Basic
Our superior basic rooms are available as twin rooms (shared with another BELS student) or as a single room (private). The room includes two twin beds, bed linen, a shared wardrobe, air conditioning and heating. A private bathroom can also be requested at an additional fee, when booking a single room. Superior Plus
Our superior plus rooms are available as twin rooms or single rooms. The room includes basic features such as bed linen, a shared wardrobe, air conditioning and heating. When compared to the superior basic rooms, the superior rooms are more spacious, include more storage and each room is also equipped with a desk and strong internet connection. They are ideal for students seeking to work remotely or prefer to have a private study space. Booking a superior plus room also ensures sea views from the living room.
Superior Plus with Ensuite Bathroom
Our superior plus rooms may be reserved as single rooms for individuals travelling alone, or as twin rooms for two individuals traveling together. The room has the same features and perks of the superior plus room, with the added private bathroom.
Arrival
Upon arrival at Malta International Airport you will be greeted by a BELS driver. Our driver will provide a welcome pack which includes the keys to your apartment and general information about the area. The driver will point out exactly where the apartment building is located, as well as show you how to arrive to the school.
